Blue Faced Parrot Finches

Blue Faced Parrot Finches are hardy, beautiful little birds. With vivid emerald green backs, deep blue faces and a call not unlike a (quiet) Bell Bird they are a lovely addition to any mixed finch collection*.

Prolific breeders, they are perfectly capable of building substantial nests in the shrubs of planted aviaries. They will use nesting boxes if supplied, but they are just as happy to D.I.Y. as long as a plentiful supply of nesting material is available.

*Blue Faced Parrot Finches should not be kept with Gouldians as the two species can hybridize.
